Join Our 3rd Space Table Talks
Collective leadership can be expressed in diverse ways. One way is to step out of our comfort zones and engage with others in important conversations. This is where 3rd Space Table Talks come in.

In our podcast, Getting to 3rd Space with Lamar and Tom, we’ve reminded our listeners and viewers of the importance of “kitchen table” conversations. In rural Iowa, where we grew up, some of the most important and meaningful conversations took place between people at the kitchen table. Since our podcast began nearly a year ago, we’ve encouraged people to look for opportunities to have similar table talks where they live.
Now, with the help of Ed Shrager and King Prawn, we are offering an opportunity for you to participate in regular table talks with others.
There is no cost to participate.
To get started, click here (or on the button below) to receive information and to be matched with other participants.
Matches are made randomly using the King Prawn software and only the people who have consented to participate are matched.
Matching will start in early Fall and once we have met the minimum number of participants needed for a robust matching process.
As we get close to beginning the matching and table talks, you’ll receive additional information via email and learn more about other participants. We are hoping to have global participation in these 3rd Space Table Talks. We’ll be signing up and participating as well.
We know participants’ schedules and time zones may vary widely. Therefore, you will have plenty of time to schedule and complete your 3rd Space Table Talk. On average, you should be matched only every four to six weeks.
Each of the 3rd Space Table Talks will give you the opportunity to get acquainted with the person you are matched with and to have a conversation on an important issue. For each 3rd Space Table Talk, we’ll present topics and questions related to them to get you started.
